About the Show:
A unit of American soldiers is killed on the orders of the U.S. Government. Sergeant Odelle Ballard is the sole survivor and unwittingly finds herself at the center of a global cover-up. Now this determined soldier, wife and mother will do whatever it takes to expose the truth and find a way home. Alone and on the run, Odelle is hunted by enemies at home and abroad. With those who tried to kill her eager to finish the job, Odelle must find allies in unlikely places to make it out alive.
From writer-director Peter Horton (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and writers Adam Armus and Kay Foster (“The Following”) comes “American Odyssey,” a complex journey through global politics, corporate espionage and military secrets involving three strangers who only have one thing in common…the truth. In this “Traffic”-like action drama, an international cover-up explodes when the lives of a female Special Forces soldier, a disillusioned corporate lawyer and a political activist from a privileged family unexpectedly collide.
The series also stars Omar Ghazaoui, Treat Williams (“Everwood”), Elena Kampouris (“Men, Women & Children”), Daniella Pineda, Jim True-Frost (“The Wire”), Sadie Sink and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (“Lost”).
