We salute Senator Cory A. Senator Booker is serving as the Senior U.S. Senator from New Jersey, a position he has held since 2013. The Senator’s record breaking speech began March 31, 2025 – the closing day of Women’s History Month. Watch his special message to Women Veterans ROCK! – Watch Here.
Women Veterans Public Policy Delegation
Women Veterans ROCK hosted it’s Annual Public Policy Day On Capitol Hill in partnership with The Women Veterans Public Policy Delegation. Military Women Leaders from across America’s Mid-Atlantic Region joined and presented in Caucus Forums for Military Families.
The Women Veterans Public Policy Day is uniquely designed to provide our Public Policy Delegates and Advocates with valuable opportunities to meet, experience and visit with Congressional Members, Senate Leaders and Hill Staffers. Our Delegates learn more about: Congress; the Public Policy Process; and they share their post-military experiences, challenges, recommendations and victories with The Delegation and Legislative Leaders.
Conversations With Our Congressional Leaders
Congresswoman Morrison served for six years in the Minnesota Legislature, and developed a track record of working across the aisle to get things done. She passed over 90 pieces of legislation during her time in The State House and State Senate. She led the fight to protect a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions and took on the big pharmaceutical companies and passed legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
Congresswoman Morrison serves on The United States House of Representatives Veterans Affairs Committee and is a Champion for Women Veterans and Military Families. She is a American Physician, Military Spouse and the only OB-GYN in Congress. She is the Co-Sponsor of H.R. 1004, the “Love Lives On Act of 2025” in the 119th Congress. H.R. 1004 aims to ensure access to “Survivor Benefits for Military Spouses” of fallen service members if they remarry.
