The Women Veterans ROCK! Advocacy Campaign
The Women Veterans ROCK! Advocacy Campaign is a Coalition of Women Veteran Organizations and Women Advocacy Organizations Supporting Women Veterans and Military Families. We support them in the areas of: Housing; Employment; Education; Financial Stability; Health & Wellness. Our mission is Engaging and Empowering America’s Women & Girls in Military Families to excel in their post-military/civilian lives.
We work to achieve our mission of “Engaging and Empowering America’s Military Women” through our unique and dynamic, gender-specific programs and activities for Today’s Women Veterans. Our premier signature programs and activities include:
* – The Women Veterans ROCK! Veterans Day Rally which is held every Veterans Day on November 11 in Washington, DC. Our Veterans Day tribute in the Nation’s Capital is dedicated to honoring those who have served and passed on and we also honor and celebrate those who have served and live on;
*- The Women Veterans Summer Leadership Retreat is held on the campus of regional partnering colleges & university in June of each year. We invite all Military Women (including: Women Veterans, Active Duty Service Women; National Guard; Reservists; Military Spouses; Military Widows; and Young Adult Girls in Military Families (age 16+) to attend the only Women Veterans Summer Leadership Retreat along the East Coast Region corridor;
* – Women Vets ROCK! Day On-Campus delivers a wide spectrum of dynamic and interactive “Lunch & Learn Workshop Series” on the campuses of colleges and universities throughout the Women Veterans National Affiliate Network. Student Veterans and Military Family Members are encouraged to attend and enjoy our on-campus workshop series delivered in our East Coast Region; Gulf Coast Region; Midwest Region; Southwest Region: and our West Coast Region too;
* – The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute, (The WVCLI), is a Fellowship Program which is a uniquely designed civic leadership training and education incubator for Today’s Military Women and Girls In Military Families (age 16+). The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute is designed to transform the Spirit of Military Service into the Spirit of Civilian Civic Engagement and Community Leadership in the areas of: Advocacy; Nonprofit Board Leadership; Community Councils; Government Commissions; Nonprofit Organizational Management and Campaigning.
The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation, (The Foundation), is a Community Outreach, Education and Advocacy Organization. Our core mission is “Building Better Communities.” We work to achieve our mission of improving the overall quality of life in under-served communities through strategic alliances with government; business; community; academic; and faith-based organizations.
The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation is changing lives in under-served communities through our work as Public Health Educators; Community Affairs Experts; Public Affairs Contractors & Technical Consultants as Program Developers For Transitioning Women Veterans and Military Families. Our Foundation’s unique expertise in building bridges into diverse communities and serving under-served populations has earned us the honored distinction of being “America’s Partner in Community Outreach, Education and Advocacy.”
