The Women Veterans ROCK! Summer Leadership Retreat

The Women Veterans ROCK! Summer Leadership Retreat is an annual workforce and professional development conference that honors, salutes, and engages military women, military service providers, women in business, community advocates, and civic leaders.

Highlights of the Retreat include: “The Leaders & Legends Luncheon,” which honors and salutes amazing women veterans and advocates for women veterans from the East Coast Region; and motivational panels and discussion forums featuring prominent local leaders who specialize in military and women issues.

The Women Veterans ROCK! Rally and Veterans Day Celebration

On Veterans Day, November 11, the Women Veterans ROCK! Advocacy Campaign stands among America’s Leading Military Women to pay tribute to America’s Women Veterans during the Women Veterans ROCK! Rally and Veterans Day Celebration.

The Women Veterans ROCK! Rally was specially created to celebrate all Women Veterans, Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Military Spouses and Military Families by “Putting a Female Face on Veterans Day Celebrations.” Last year’s historic fifth anniversary of the Women Veterans ROCK! Rally was “A Five Star Tribute to America’s Women in Military Service” as Women Veterans ROCK! commemorated its fifth year of a 10-year commission to research and examine the challenges, opportunities, and barriers facing America’s Women Veterans as they transition from military service back into civilian life.

Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute

The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute (WVCLI), a uniquely designed Civic Leadership Incubator dedicated to transforming the Can-Do-Spirit of Military Service into a Post-Military Can-Do-Spirit of Civic and Community Leadership which serves and benefits the common good of all humanity.

The Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute uniquely empowers Women Veterans to excel as they choose to become engaged in civic and community leadership. The Institute provides a combination of civic leadership training and education fueled by the powerful engagement of Civic, Business, Community, Nonprofit and Academic Communities offering compelling in-service fellowships opportunities. The Inaugural Class of the Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute launched in the 2015 Fall College Season on the campus of Chestnut Hill College in the beautiful and historic district of Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Women Veterans ROCK! Days On-Campus

Women Veterans ROCK! Days On-Campus is our signature program designed to engage and empower America’s Women & Girls In Military Families on college campuses. These On-Campus Outreach Events provides campus-based support to the rapidly growing population of America’s Student Veterans and Military Families. Our on-campus events supplements existing student veterans programs with the primary goal to aid and assist veterans and military families with the tools they need to achieve long-term post-military success.

Women Veterans ROCK! Days On-Campus is co-hosted by colleges and universities one day a month, to aid and support Women Veterans and Military Families in the areas of: On-Campus Advocacy; Military Benefits; Peer Coaching; Professional Networking; Workforce & Leadership Development; and Cultivating Community-Based Networks for transitioning and relocated Military Families. Women Veterans ROCK! Days On-Campus are co-hosted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

“Get To Know Us” Series of Outreach Programs and Activities

This is an ongoing series of Outreach, Education & Community Engagement Activities. “Get To Know Us” events include our participation in events hosted by other organizations, resource fairs, speaking engagements, award programs, information sessions, as well as receptions and luncheons.
