Phase II: The 2030 Commission Welcomes New Stakeholder Group Community Leaders
The Women Veterans 2030 Commission for Women Veterans & Military Families was successfully launched on Veterans Day, November 11, 2020 at The Virtual Women's Conference of Pennsylvania. There were over 15,000 women in attendance from all across America. Comcast NBC Universal was among the first of our Community Corporate Partners to provide their support and their continued vote of confidence in our important work.
The Women Veterans 2030 Commission is a Nonpartisan Nationwide Initiative Dedicated to Building a Culturally Competent, Transformational Vision of Equity and Inclusion for America's Women Veterans, Military Women, and Military Families by Year 2030.
Phase V - "Phase Five In 2025" - Marks The Formation of The 2030 Public Policy Coalition. It Is A Nationwide Cohort of Military Families Who Are Moving Forward Together In Year 2025. We Are Proud To Be Working In Partnership With The Women Veterans Public Policy Delegation.
Phase IV - In year 2024, Women Veterans ROCK continues its progress in "Building A Pathway For Our Posterity." One of our key Public Policy Advocacy Initiatives is dedicated to supporting the Department of Defense "Troops To Teachers" Program. The "Women Veterans ROCK: Troops To Teachers Taskforce" works in alliance with The Women Veterans Public Policy Delegation.
The "Troops To Teachers" Program provides specific post-military career opportunities for transitioning veterans and military family members. The "Troops To Teachers" Program transitions valuable knowledge and experience into local communities to Teach, Guide and Mentor Youth in public and charter schools - as well as having a positive impact on improving challenges related to teacher shortages.
The Troops To Teachers Program provides retiring military veterans with a solid and specific career path into fulfilling civic engagement and community leadership opportunities.
Phase III - In year 2023, Women Veterans ROCK continued its progress in "Building A Pathway For Our Posterity" with our 2030 STEM Careers Network for Women Vets & JROTC Cadets. The most popular feature is our "New Ranks Media Network(C)." The "New Ranks Media Network" builds bridges that link our Women Veterans ROCK "Model Cities Emerging Leaders Program" participants seamlessly to one another. This is our intergenerational, multicultural "beacon" of community-based civic engagement and mentor leadership that beams a bright light on our work in "Building A Pathway To Equity & Inclusion For Our Posterity."
Phase II - In year 2022, Women Veterans ROCK continued its progress in "Building A Pathway For Our Posterity" with our 2030 Nationwide Stakeholders Group. The 2030 Stakeholders Group is our Collaborative Cohort of Community Partners tasked with formulating and building the framework for The Women Veterans ROCK "Model Cities Emerging Leaders Program."
Phase I - In year 2021, Women Veterans ROCK convened 20 / 2030 Military Women Commissioners to identify the leading obstacles to post military success. The inaugural cohort of 2030 Commissioners identified "Transitions" as a leading factor in building a solid foundation for post-military/civilian success following separation from military service.
