On Sunday, June 30, 2013 “Women Veterans ROCK!” will host Women Veterans, Military Service Women, Military Spouses and Women Veteran Service Providers at a spectacular Women Veterans Summer Retreat. It will be held on the beautiful campus of Chestnut Hill College located at 9601 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19118 from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM. This year’s Women Veterans Summer Retreat will feature our “Leaders & Legends Luncheon” where we will salute and honor amazing Women Veterans and Advocates for Women Veterans from all around the region.
The 2013 Women Veterans Summer Retreat will present motivational panels and discussion forums on: The Power of Overcoming Self-Imposed Limitations; Leading and Leveraging Our Leadership; and an Executive Coaching Clinic: From Transition To Transformation as well as a Power Networking & Business Opportunities Reception with Women Business, Community and Civic Leaders.
The “Women Veterans Rock!” Advocacy Campaign remains dedicated to connecting Women Veterans and Military Families to community-based networks, resources and services. Our overall goal is to increase awareness; increase access; and increase utilization of the military services and benefits that aid veterans and their families in enjoying fulfilling civilian lifestyles.
