Yvette A. Nunez is a Nonprofit professional with 20 years of experience in leading communications, community engagement and government relations initiatives. Presently she serves as the Vice President of Civic Affairs at The Chamber of Commerce of The Greater Philadelphia Region.  She is a leading voice in the city’s “Road Map For Growth.” 

Ms. Núñez is also a freelance writer who has worked in nonprofit and government communications for over 15 years. She is passionate about the Latino community, civic engagement and communications. When those three merge, she is in her zone.

A graduate from Temple University with a degree in Journalism, Yvette has been published in The Huffington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Tribune’s Sojourner Magazine, and Al Dia Newspaper.

She has been recognized as one of the Delaware Valley’s Most Influential Latinos Under 40, and was the first person of color to preside over the Philadelphia Public Relations Association.

Originally from Newark, NJ, she now lives and works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her fiancée and four children: William, Olivia, Cruz and Noah.

I am Yvette Núñez, Vice President of Civic Affairs at the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia. Thank you for the opportunity to testify on Resolution 180360. We are happy to provide comment on strategies the City can use to grow its tax base and expand opportunities for all Philadelphians.”
